Reviews
“This book is an extremely well-worked out grandmaster repertoire that balances engine and correspondence experience with a good feeling for the practical player. I try and hold myself in a bit more nowadays with 5-star ratings, but this one deserves it! 5 stars!”
GM Matthew Sadler, New in Chess
“The quality of the analysis is impressive and there are plenty of original suggestions backed up by concrete lines and analysis which will arm the white player with much material. There is plenty of explanatory text that elucidates the main positional ideas in each chapter. The author pays particular attention to move order considerations which are particularly pertinent in the Pirc/Modern complex of openings… The suggested repertoire is generally dynamic and attacking but there are plenty of lines where white nurses a space advantage and positional pressure.
My conclusion is that this is an excellent repertoire book for white, packed full of top quality analysis and much original analysis.”

“In typical fashion, Negi’s coverage is aggressive, thorough and cutting-edge.”
Sean Marsh, CHESS magazine
Reviews of the previous volumes:
“His books on the Sicilian are absolutely fabulous.” GM Simen Agdestein, New in Chess
“It’s so good! It shows everything that you need to produce world-class preparation… Negi’s book is absolutely stunning. My jaw kept dropping at the attacking ideas that Negi exposes… Once again this is a work of the very highest quality.” GM Matthew Sadler, New in Chess
“When I review a new book, I review HARD, and I go out of my way to look for holes. This makes it difficult for any author to meet my high expectations, but Negi continues to impress me… Another Negi book, another five stars.” GM David Smerdon
